Calverton Aviation and Technology to provide update on its current vision for EPCAL project at Riverhead IDA meeting on Monday

Representatives from Calverton Aviation & Technology will update the Riverhead Industrial Development Agency and Riverhead residents on their current vision for the proposed project at Calverton…

We have been notified that Triple 5, the company proposing to develop the former Grumman site in Calverton, will be giving a presentation to inform local communities of what they plan to build at the site.  As you know, residents have been outraged about their previous proposal of an air cargo hub at the site.  We know that development at the site will increase traffic and road congestion, affect the environment, and disturb quality of life for residents for miles around the site.

The presentation will be held at Riverhead Town Hall on Monday, August 7 immediately following the IDA meeting beginning at 5pm.  There will be a Zoom option.  However, anyone choosing to attend via Zoom must email the IDA requesting the Zoom link by the end of day on Friday.  Attached are the press release for the meeting, as well as, a Riverhead Local article with additional details.
