Suffolk County Police Department, 7th Precinct, Presents Faith and Blue Event

In a dedicated effort to strengthen the bonds of unity and promote positive relationships between law enforcement and the Longwood community, the Suffolk County Police Department, 7th Precinct, is delighted to announce the upcoming Faith and Blue event.

What is Faith and Blue Weekend?

Faith and Blue Weekend is a community-driven initiative with a noble aim: to encourage dialogue, understanding, and collaboration among community members and local law enforcement agencies. This event is part of a nationwide movement committed to enhancing trust and mutual respect between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve.

The 7th Precinct event is part of the National Faith & Blue Weekend, which spans from October 6th to October 9th, 2023. This four-day weekend event involves locally organized community-officer engagement, making it the nation's largest annual collaborative policing initiative. National Faith & Blue Weekend facilitates safer and stronger communities by connecting law enforcement officers and local residents through the networks of faith-based organizations.

Our local event promises a wonderful opportunity for the  communities located within the 7th precinct’s sectors to engage with our local law enforcement officers in an informal and welcoming setting. It's a chance to ask questions, share experiences, and build positive relationships.
